Refund Policy
Effective 20 August 2026
Where purchases happen
Paid features in Lumo — subscriptions and gem packs — are currently sold as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive or store your card details.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Lumo, and turn off auto-renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Cancelling stops all future renewals. Your subscription features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.
Requesting a refund
Because Apple processes every payment, refunds are issued by Apple under its own policies — we cannot issue them directly. To request one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and choose the Lumo purchase, or contact Apple Support.
Whether Apple grants a refund is Apple's decision, made under its own rules. Telling us as well costs nothing and often helps: if something went wrong on our side, we will say so.
If you were charged and did not receive what you paid for
Write to support@lumochat.ai with the email address your account uses. We keep a ledger of every gem grant and spend and a record of every subscription state change, so we can see exactly what was delivered and when.
If a purchase was charged and not delivered, we make it right — by delivering what was paid for, or by supporting your refund request with Apple. If a feature charges you gems and then fails, the gems are returned.
Billing issues with a subscription
If a subscription renews when you expected it not to, is charged at a price you did not expect, or does not unlock the features it should, contact us at the address above and we will investigate. Where the fix is a refund, it goes through Apple as described here.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits the rights consumer law gives you where you live. Where the law of your country gives you a right of withdrawal, cancellation or refund, that right applies regardless of anything written here.
